In each of the five Pistol Skills Solutions courses, we breakdown and isolate certain skills to work on. We isolate a different set of fundamentals in each course and spend the entire time working on those fundamentals. If you are a newer shooter and would like a class that has the same feel as a private lesson, this is the class for you. Each student gets one-on-one instruction and attention from the instructors. If you are an experienced shooter and just need to fix a few things, Pistol Skills Solutions courses are for you. They do not have to be taken in sequential order.

Perhaps you are interested in having a private lesson but simply can’t afford it right now. Pistol Skills Solutions is the class for you. You receive one-on-one instruction that is similar to a private lesson but with a small group setting and at a fraction of the private lesson cost. Pistol Skills Solutions courses provide raw data and feedback to students to help them improve in their pistol shooting. One-on-one instruction is provided to students and they are given a set of fundamentals to work and on and fix in the class with instructor assistance. None of the Pistol Skills Solutions courses have to be taken sequentially due to the fact they are simply a breakdown of the application of a certain fundamental of pistol shooting.

Pistol Skill Solutions 1- Stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger management

Pistol Skills Solutions 2- Weapon handling skills including presentations from carry positions and ready positions, recoil management

Pistol Skills Solutions 3- Drawing the pistol quickly and efficiently, reloads (reloads with retention, speed reloads, emergency reloads)

Pistol Skills Solutions 4- Shooting on the move and use of cover and concealment- lateral movement, forward and rearward movement, and shooting from positions of disadvantage

Pistol Skills Solutions 5- Low light applications- use of a weapon mounted light and handheld flashlight (Requires at least a handheld flashlight)


Equipment Needed:

  • Serviceable handgun

  • Eye and ear protection

  • 125-150 rounds of ammunition

  • Box/bag for handgun or range belt with holster (Draws will not be covered in Pistol Skills Solutions 1)

  • Notebook and pen for note taking
